I’ve been meaning to take some shots of the building for a while now. Finally managed to drag myself away from the “other attractions backstage” and got some shots I’m pleased with. The ballroom is a stunning piece of period architecture so no doubt there will be plenty more photos to come.

The recently built Marine Parade Bridge which links the Southport seafront with the town centre. Giving pedestrians and cars good access to the Ocean Plaza leisure and shopping centre, which is located a few minutes walk from Lord Street.
It really felt like summer had arrived this weekend, with glorious sunshine and and a visit to the Hurlingham Club in central London.
I don’t know what this building is called but it glows various colours at night, this colour with the sky reminds me of a watermelon. It has several variations of colour and sequence, well worth taking a look. It’s behind the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Mark McNulty kindly informs me it’s the engineering dept…cheers Mark.
