The Bahrain World Trade Center or Bahrain WTC with it’s twin towers and wind turbines is located in Manama, close to the diplomatic quarter of the city.
I’ve been meaning to take some shots of the building for a while now. Finally managed to drag myself away from the “other attractions backstage” and got some shots I’m pleased with. The ballroom is a stunning piece of period architecture so no doubt there will be plenty more photos to come.
The recently built Marine Parade Bridge which links the Southport seafront with the town centre. Giving pedestrians and cars good access to the Ocean Plaza leisure and shopping centre, which is located a few minutes walk from Lord Street.
A black and white shot of the American Eagle on the Sony Shop in Liverpool One. There is a colour shot over on my flickr page. American Eagle on flickr.
I don’t know what this building is called but it glows various colours at night, this colour with the sky reminds me of a watermelon. It has several variations of colour and sequence, well worth taking a look. It’s behind the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Mark McNulty kindly informs me it’s the engineering dept…cheers Mark.
The quayside at the Albert Dock in Liverpool. Taken at sunset, facing in the direction of Garston.
The MV Ventura is currently the largest cruise ship built specifically for the British market. I was onboard for her maiden voyage. The above shot is her moored off the coast of Italy, I was hanging over the side of the tender vessel heading back to the ship.
